What is LP Gas?

LP Gas/LPG/Liquefied Petroleum Gas is a hydrocarbon fuel comprising of Propane, Butane or Propylene either separately or as a blend. LP Gas is a non-toxic, non-corrosive, non-polluting and free of lead gas.

How safe is LP Gas

All LP ZGas converted vehicles operating in Australia have been done so to a National Standard that is one of the strictest and safest in the world.

Is LP Gas environmentally friendly?

Yes LP Gas is safe, viable and clean. When a LP gas system is correctly installed, tuned and maintained the vehicles impact on the environment is that it emits lower greenhouse emissions, less smog forming carcinogenic pollutants and particulates. Independent studies have shown that a modern engine fitted with a closed loop (VSI) LP Gas system will reduce emissions as much as 34% reduction in oxides of nitrogen, 15% reduction in carbon dioxides and 50-60% reduction in carbnon monoxide. Virtually zero evaporative emissions of hydrocarbons. Potentially zero emissions of Sulphur Dioxide and air toxins. LP Gas is environmentally friendly and is commonly referred to as the "Green Fuel".

The system works as a master/slave and therefore does not tamper or interfere with the petrol fuel injection system already on the vehicle. Gone are the days of warning lights coming on as a result of LP gas. Backfires and consequential damage to air induction systems are elimated due to the design and technology utilized in the Parnell VSI. The slick design and presentation of Parnell VSI means that the integrity of the vehicle and its performance are not compromised in any way. The only difference you will experience between Petrol and LPG are the large saving you will receive when filling the car with LPG.
